1. Q: What is the appropriate water pressure for faucets? What is considered high water pressure?

A: The tap water pressure is generally 3-5 kg, which is about 0.3-0.5MPa. If it exceeds 6 kg, it is considered high and people will feel uncomfortable; if it is less than 3 kg, it is generally considered low water pressure.

2. Q: What should I do if the faucet is leaking?

A:Most people think that faucet leakage means there is something wrong with the cartride. In fact, as long as it is used properly, the cartridge is unlikely to have problems. Therefore, if the faucet is leaking, it should be analyzed from its essence.

(1) Water still flows out of the faucet after the cartridge is closed. This phenomenon may be caused by the loosening of the pressure cap, which causes the cartridge to loosen and fail to seal the water.

The solution is to remove the handle and decorative cover and tighten the pressure cap again;

Another possibility is that the rubber O-ring at the bottom of the cartridge is deformed and cannot seal the water. The solution is to remove the cartridge, check the rubber ring at the bottom, reset it and reinstall it.

(2)Water seeps out from around the cartridge. This phenomenon may be caused by the cartridge being loose or displaced. The solution is to remove the valve core and reinstall it.

(3)Water seeps out from the middle of the valve core. This phenomenon means that the valve core is damaged. The solution is to replace the valve core.

 If you replace the cartridge as soon as the faucet leaks, it will definitely increase the maintenance cost.

(4)The faucet is leaking from the bottom. This phenomenon is usually caused by the O-ring of the water inlet pipe not being installed properly or being deformed. The solution is to unscrew the hose. If the O-ring is not deformed, reinstall the O-ring and the water inlet pipe. If the O-ring is deformed, replace it.
